Meet the Founder
Tyler Sheppard
Sheppard & Sons was founded in 2023 by Tyler Sheppard, carrying on a family tradition rooted in generations of experience in the construction industry. From an early age, Tyler was surrounded by the trade, developing a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, hard work, and the pride that comes with building something with your own hands.
Tyler began his career in masonry before expanding his skills into electrical work and carpentry. Along the way, he discovered his true passion for remodeling and residential renovations. These projects allow him to bring together his diverse experience and skills, including framing, drywall, exterior siding, and general contracting.
Tyler takes a hands-on approach to every project through Sheppard & Sons. He believes that quality work starts with understanding the customer, paying attention to the details, and treating every home as if it were his own. Customer satisfaction is always his number one priority, and he takes great pride in seeing a project come together from start to finish.
Behind Tyler and Sheppard & Sons is his greatest support system – his wife, Mrs. Sheppard, and their two sons, Weston and Wyatt. As a husband, father, and homeowner himself, Tyler understands that a home is more than just a building. It is where families grow, make memories, and build their lives together.
Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to his customers and community, Tyler strives to bring quality craftsmanship and a personal touch to every project.

Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, Born and raised on PEI, I’m grateful to build homes in the community that raised me.
I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Tyler for over four years, and for the past two years, I’ve been proud to be part of the Sheppard & Sons team. Throughout that time, Tyler has been more than just someone I work with—he has been a great mentor and someone who has helped me grow both professionally and personally.
Tyler is patient, easygoing, and always willing to share his knowledge and experience. He treats me with respect as a fellow tradesman and has given me the opportunity to learn, take on new challenges, and build confidence in my abilities.
